The set includes one thaal with cover, two matching bowls, one oil bottle, and two applicators; all finished in deep red velvet with gota work detailing.

What does each piece in the set serve during the ceremony?

The thaal is the centrepiece, it holds the haldi paste and sweets to be placed before the bride during the ritual. The bowls allow the paste and sweets to be shared among family members who wish to apply haldi. The oil bottle holds ceremonial oil, and the velvet-covered applicators are used to gently apply the haldi to the bride's skin.
