Ivory Zehra Sahe Chithi Ceremony Set

Four handcrafted pieces: a Palki with Tray (12" × 9" × 10"), a Mithai Box that holds 1 kg of sweets, a Screen-Printed Fabric Scroll carrying your Sahe Chithi, and a Shagun Envelope; all in ivory velvet with mirror and pearl work. The scroll is printed to your family's details after you order; the rest arrives ready to send.

It is sent by the bride's family to the groom's family, and it comes after the Roka and before the invitations go out, usually within days of the pandit fixing the muhurat, because nothing else can be booked until the date is confirmed in writing. It is delivered in person by a small group from the bride's side, with mithai and shagun, and read aloud at the groom's house.

We need the names of the bride and groom, both families' names, the wedding date and the muhurat, and the language, Hindi, English or Punjabi. We email you for these as soon as your order is confirmed, and we print nothing until you have approved the final wording. The sooner you send them the better: the scroll is the one part of this set that cannot be made in advance, so it sets the delivery date for the whole order.

Yes. Colour, embroidery and monogram customisations are available across the Palki, the Mithai Box and the Shagun Envelope, so the set can be matched to the rest of your wedding palette. Yes, and most of our customers do exactly that — the palki is meant to arrive at the groom's family's house, not yours. We ship across India and to 20+ countries including the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia and the UAE. Because the scroll is printed to your details, we ask for 3–4 weeks from the date you send them for delivery within India, and 4–6 weeks internationally.
