Will the ring, chain and kada boxes fit standard jewellery?

Yes. The Ring Box (2" × 2" × 1.5") holds a standard ring on a cushioned base. The Chain Box (4" × 2") is sized for a chain coiled rather than laid flat; if you are gifting a full-length haar, tell us before ordering and we will supply the longer 9" × 2" box in the same ivory finish. The Single Kada Box (4" × 4") fits one standard kada. For an oversized or antique piece, send us the measurements on WhatsApp and we will confirm the fit.

Can you ship directly to a family member in India, and how far in advance should I order?

Yes. Many of our customers order from abroad and ship directly to family in India ahead of the ceremony. We ship across India and to 20+ countries including the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia and the UAE. We recommend ordering 3–4 weeks before your ceremony date; for international orders, 4–6 weeks is ideal. Write to us at orders@pataaree.com if you need an express timeline.

How much cash is traditionally given as shagun?

Shagun is always given in odd numbers; 101, 501, 1,100, 2,100, because an even amount is considered complete, and a blessing is meant to keep growing. The extra rupee is the shagun itself. The three envelopes in this set (8" × 4") are sized to hold notes flat as well as folded.

Can this set be customised?

Yes. We offer customisation in colour, embroidery, and monogram across all pieces. Please reach out to us on WhatsApp to discuss your requirements before placing your order.
