For us, Haldi ceremony is a riot of colours, of festive beginnings to wedding ceremonies,lending that happy cheer to the ambience. Sitting on their peedi, with feet on the phatta, the blushing bride to be or the dashing groom to be wait for the relatives to smear them generously with ubtan/gaye holud, pithi, tel baan or mandha.
